Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Chart Equity ("the Service"), operated by Vault Media Inc., PO Box 3031, Fredericton, NB E3A 5G8, Canada ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Ownership & Operation

Chart Equity is a brand and product owned and operated by Vault Media Inc. The website located at chartequity.com, the associated YouTube channel @ChartEquity, all related social media accounts, and all content published through these channels are the property of Vault Media Inc. All references to "Chart Equity" in these Terms refer to the platform, products, and services operated by Vault Media Inc.

Description of Service

Chart Equity is an educational and informational platform that provides market data, stock analysis tools, AI-assisted stock audits, a ranked Top 10 stock picks list, financial calculators, investing courses, articles, a newsletter, community features (including a Discord server), and other educational resources. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. The Service may include both free and paid subscription tiers with varying levels of access to features and content.

AI-Assisted Content & Third-Party Data

Some of our content and tools use artificial intelligence. AI stock audits are generated by AI from third-party financial data, and articles are prepared with AI-assisted research tools and reviewed by a person before publishing. Our free Stock Audit is generated automatically by fixed rules from third-party data.

AI and automated output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it reads confidently. Analyst ratings and price targets we show are third-party data (for example via Yahoo Finance), not our own view. Always check key figures against the company's own filings before relying on them.

Disclosures

Vault Media Inc. and its directors may hold positions in securities mentioned. We don't buy or sell a security within 3 business days of adding it to or removing it from our Top 10 list.

Community & Discord

Chart Equity may provide access to community features including a Discord server. By participating in our community, you acknowledge and agree:

User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • ●All activities that occur under your account
  • ●Providing accurate and current information
  • ●Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • ●Ensuring you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are used for fraudulent or abusive purposes. One account per person is permitted unless expressly authorized by us.

Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor, in U.S. dollars plus any applicable tax. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.

  • ●Auto-renewal: monthly and yearly plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
  • ●$7 7-day Pro trial: new members may be offered 7 days of Pro for a one-time $7 charge. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it renews automatically at $19/month until you cancel. We email you a reminder 2 to 3 days before the trial ends.
  • ●Cancelling: cancel anytime in Profile > Manage Subscription (the Stripe billing portal). Cancelling stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current billing period or trial. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by law.
  • ●All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by law
  • ●Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
  • ●Lifetime purchases are non-recurring but are still subject to these Terms and may be revoked for violations
  • ●Failed payments may result in suspension of access to paid features

Refund Policy

All purchases and subscription payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. By subscribing or making a purchase, you acknowledge that you will not be entitled to a refund for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the Service, failure to use the Service, or early cancellation of a subscription. Cancellation of a subscription stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of any previously charged amounts. Nothing in this section limits any refund rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Electronic Communications

When you create an account, you agree to receive emails from Chart Equity (Vault Media Inc.), including account and billing notices, product updates, newsletters and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime using the link in any email. We'll still send account and billing notices while you have an account. You agree that notices and other communications we send electronically meet any legal requirement that they be in writing.

Intellectual Property

All content on Chart Equity, including but not limited to articles, courses, videos, lessons, data visualizations, tools, calculators, design elements, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by Vault Media Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit our content without express written permission from Vault Media Inc. Limited personal, non-commercial use is permitted for your own educational purposes only.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • ●Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • ●Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or our systems
  • ●Scrape, data mine, crawl, or systematically extract content or data from the Service
  • ●Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account
  • ●Interfere with, disrupt, or place an undue burden on the Service or its infrastructure
  • ●Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
  • ●Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the Service or its content
  • ●Use automated systems (bots, scripts, etc.) to access the Service without our written consent
  • ●Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
  • ●Use the Service to provide financial advisory services to third parties

Third-Party Services & Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by Vault Media Inc. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. This includes but is not limited to our third-party data providers, payment processor (Stripe), community platform (Discord), and any external resources linked from our content. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VAULT MEDIA INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF INVESTMENT VALUE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, VAULT MEDIA INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (A) YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION, DATA, OR CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE; (B) ANY INVESTMENT DECISIONS YOU MAKE; (C) ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR OMISSIONS IN MARKET DATA OR OTHER INFORMATION; (D) INTERRUPTIONS OR UNAVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE; OR (E) ANY ACTIONS OR CONTENT OF THIRD PARTIES, INCLUDING OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. VAULT MEDIA INC. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MARKET DATA WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR TIMELY. ALL FINANCIAL DATA IS PROVIDED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND MAY BE DELAYED, INCOMPLETE, OR CONTAIN ERRORS.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vault Media Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of any third party; (d) any investment or financial decisions you make; or (e) any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, then, where permitted by law, it shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration seated in New Brunswick, Canada. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. Where arbitration isn't permitted by law, the dispute will go to the courts described under Governing Law.

Class Action Waiver: Where permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You expressly waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Vault Media Inc.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules. To the extent arbitration doesn't apply, you agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Brunswick. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect. The failure of Vault Media Inc. to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published on Chart Equity, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vault Media Inc. regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
