Joey Babineau is an investor, entrepreneur, and founder of ChartEquity.com with more than 20 years of experience building businesses, analyzing data, and allocating capital across digital businesses, real estate, and the stock market.
Over his career, Joey has built and operated multiple online businesses, managed more than $10 million in paid digital advertising, built a seven-figure real estate business, and developed his own investment portfolio in the public markets.
His background in performance marketing has given him a highly data-driven approach to investing. After spending millions of dollars making decisions based on measurable returns, probabilities, risk, and performance data, Joey applies many of those same principles when researching companies and evaluating opportunities in the stock market.
He founded ChartEquity to document and share that research with other investors. His work focuses on identifying what is actually driving a stock, including earnings, valuation, unusual price and volume activity, institutional moves, SEC filings, industry trends, and significant changes in a company's underlying business.
Rather than chasing market hype, ChartEquity is built around a simple idea: follow the data, understand the business, and know what you own.
Joey is based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, where he continues to operate his businesses, manage his real estate holdings and investment portfolio, and publish stock market research and educational content through ChartEquity.
